Unix:Implementing HORCM

Log

Install

• cd /opt; mkdir HORCM
• cat sourceofsoftware | cpio -idum
• cd /opt/HORCM; ls -l Check the contents, some files should be there
• ln -s /opt/HORCM /HORCM Create a link from root directory to /opt/HORCM
• /HORCM/horcminstall.sh Run the install script. Symbolic links in /usr/bin to HORCM commands are created.
• Add the UDP services to the /etc/services file

• cp /HORCM/etc/horcm.conf /HORCM/etc/horcm{instance}.conf

Summary

• Install software
• Update /etc/services with HORCM ports
• Create horcm instance configuration file

Commands

pairdisplay -g group -Iinstance pairmon pairresync pairsplit

Files

/etc /HORCM /HORCM/etc /HORCM/etc/horcm.conf

         /horcm10.conf
